- JD, EJD, PhD - Thoughts on My Set of Circumstances - DegreeInfo
The EJD is a 3-year, 75 hour program, so the depth of learning is quite different between the two Secondly, yes, for marketing purposes, I would prefer the "D" in the nomenclature, whether it be a PhD or a EJD
- Value of an Executive JD Degree | DegreeInfo
I would like to think a non-ABA JD would have at least the same value as any other degree that isn't aimed at qualifying a person for some sort of license, but then there is the part where some of those degrees are from unaccredited schools (neither regionally nor nationally accredited), so maybe someone looking deeply into it would find that out and make a deal of it to discredit the holder
- Dead EJD? Older article. . . | DegreeInfo
Unlike the EJD law thingy, I don't know offhand of any legit schools that teach these, although such medical degrees do exist There are certainly a few "other" schools, dubious or worse, here and there in the world, that do teach these useless "non-doctor" degrees - and for self-preservation reasons, warn people up-front about the limitations
- Concord or Taft for the Executive Juris Prudence doctorate?
Thanks for the feedback As I mentioned, I am not seeking employment but searching for an academic program, a doctorate, EJD, that interests me and will motivate me to complete it So at this point, after reviewing numerous programs, Aspen's seems to be on top of the list while the law schools are merely being considered as "possible" candidates

- Taft University Juris Doctor Executive Tract - DegreeInfo
Concord Law School also offers the EJD and as Taft, is accredited by DETC Moreover, Concord's online law school is part of a regionally accredited (HLC-NCA) institution (e g , Kaplan University) EJD Degree: Executive Juris Doctorate Degree Program - Online Law Degree | Concord Law School
- JD, EJD, PhD - Thoughts on My Set of Circumstances
Yes, you are correct Only California schools offer the EJD or JD with an executive track (exceot for a few foreign schools) Regarding the use of JD, I'll look into it, but I can't imagine the ABA would have any right whatsoever to interfere with the nomenclature Someone becomes a JD when he completes a course of study
