- A New Sega Model 3 emulator; Supermodel Dojo | NeoGAF
Yes Supermodel has been around for years now and yes it's basically taking the Sega Model 3 and giving it so many QOL improvements that it's mind blowingly beyond what the Model 3 could do in arcades but outside of one GUI add-on that can be quite hard to find it's always been a bit trickier
- PS3 emulation hit a major milestone a few days ago
I got a 12700K for CPU, write color buffers is on, I just booted up the game to try again just now, anything beyond 100% resolution scale crash the emu as soon as I enter a match
- A New arcade emulator for Killer Instinct and KI 2; BigInstinct
Granted MAME has handled Killer Instinct and the sequel pretty handily for awhile now but Rich Whitehouse, the dev behind the Atari Jaguar BigPEmu, came along and decided it could be better, especially on the MIPS III architecture side So they wrote and released BigInstinct today, a brand new

Yes, I had a filter that only shows patch for available games unless the emu picked up the wrong version You have to look under the general patches Near the top of the list You see the games it will take effect on to the right in the description box
- PlayStation 2 PCSX2 emulator: 99% PS2 games now Playable!
The PlayStation 2, a console that defined an era of gaming, has seen its legacy preserved and celebrated thanks to the dedicated efforts of the PCSX2 team This open-source emulator, born in 2002, has grown from strength to strength, reaching a remarkable milestone: the ability to run over 99%
- I just tried Metroid Prime 3 on the Wii using an old CRT TV . . . - NeoGAF
Nonetheless, NES and SNES look and run so well, though n64 (using F-zero X as the use case) has frame dips stutters which is quite noticeable Maybe theres some tweaks i can perform in, but what annoys me more so is that Wii64 doesnt offer the finer Video options like the other two aforementioned console emu's do (EG: I want to choose NTSC 480i)
- Hardware - Valve hasnt released a new Steam Console yet? Fine Ill . . .
I have one of these with Nvidia 8600GT 2GB VRAM card I haven't booted up it in ages, wonder if it can be an emu box for older games Sure, the issue is that the hardware is a decade old so it's near the minimum recommended settings for PS2 Gamecube emulation But below that is fine
- You guys messed with these $50 retro handhelds? It’s . . . - NeoGAF
I use Deck for high end emu, and I have a 2DSXL The thing I love about the ~$50 retro handheld entry segment is you can treat it like trash and you don't have to worry about it getting stolen, etc I play it a lot just because it's around and easy to access Currently playing the 32X version of NBA Jam TE a ton
