Enco has been ruined by MSC There was a time when MSC was a half decent company I bought thousands $ worth of USA made tooling from them at good prices, I think I have bought from twice in last 10 years Now that Shars is starting to sell some more upscale tooling and end mills, they will likely get my money and ebay cheers michael

I have just acquired a lathe that claims to be an Enco 110-2031 manufactured in 1988 ( 7), serial number 1000 (if you can believe it) It was apparently manufactured in Taiwan I believe this lathe was setup for 110v operation, despite the large "220v" sticker on the outside of the wiring box

I found an Enco model 110-2075, 12x36 lathe, for sale, that looks like new I know that they're discontinued by Enco, and that it's motor has been replaced (apparently a common issue with this model) Can anyone advise of experiences with this lathe, whether it's appropriate for home shop use

My Enco 12" is 2 years older ('82) but I guess they changed the model numbering scheme 'cuz mine is a 92010, no "110" in front 4 5 taper, came with the MT2 adapter for a dead center, had to buy a 4 5 to 5C adapter, got that on ebay

I have found the manual enco-110-0820 pdf (this link is just one of the same document I have found everywhere) Here are my questions along with pictures 1, What bolts are used to mount the lathe to the base? 2, I got grease for the ways, and the lubrication guide in the manual shows several places to Grease Oil, but what lubricants are these?
