The only books that you can't ever be locked out of are the Scribd Everand originals I can't even figure out what triggered it No one knows, they don't give any insight into how it works I have observed the more recent and popular a book is the more likely it is to get some books limited

Everand is not truly unlimited There is an undisclosed algorithm there which they will use to throttle your account Seems to depend on publishers and or authors and or format and or something else they will not tell you even if you ask If you're going to only listen to a couple audiobooks a month, then Everand will work great for you

Anyway, I was wondering if there were other audiobook platforms that are like Scribd Everand (one payment and having unlimited access to all the books)? PS I use Libby and have 4 library cards (one of which is LA Public Library which has a lot of selections), but sometimes the books I need really want to read are not available

So, I was able to locate the "Everand" Terms and Conditions and it appears that the limits are set by each publisher author, as well as Everand themselves There may be some variety on what exactly the limitations are based on the cost, publisher, author, popularity, etc
