What is the advantage of using dbpoweramp to create an exact FLAC copy of a CD than using windows media player? It sounds like my understanding of a lossless FLAC file is correct

Exact Audio Copy is the only tool you can fully trust It exists for more than 10 years, and I never had problems with it You can easily check if you did a good job ripping tracks - burn grabbed WAVs on blank CD (in audio mode, not data) using lowest speed possible, and listen it on your player That way you eliminate all variables in comparison
