Excelsior College is an excellent choice for your RN It allowed me to complete my RN degree on my own time and continue to work full time at the hospital You may be able to double up with prereqs but the nursing portion I do NOT recommend doubling up if you are currently working as the courses are rigorous

I've researched Excelsior and know the pros and cons, and for me the pros outweigh the cons (over a year to wait for CPNE, oh well) I don't plan on going any further than ADN, I'm turning 49 y o this year It's interesting to note that when I move with the wife within the next 2 to 3 years, I won't be moving to Alabama, California, or Maryland

Excelsior students will have to complete 120 hour precepted experience set up by Excelsior College, after finishing the associate nursing degree requirements Then they may apply for the NCLEX- RN
- Which state do you take NCLEX when finished with excelsior?
I live in nj and wondering when you are finished can you take the NCLEX for the state I live in or if I have to lisence by endorsement, thanks for the help!!
