I'm in NW Arkansas and I use the sil-ophtho when I can't get my regular oil it works the same it just cost more It cost me $16 for that over the other one I perfer at $8 which is called ARTIFICIAL EYE LUBRICANT seems to work the

hi all, just wondering if its my imagination,or has anyone else found this, when using the larger 15 ml size ocu glide or sil-ophtho silicone drops that despite being careful not to let the bottle tip touch anything,that when the bottle gets to about half empty it seems as if it [goes off] and seems to irritate the eye instead of lubricating, i note there is no use by date,but after checking

Hi SKI~~~~I have the same problem, theres a cheaper oil called "ARTIFICIAL EYE LUBRICANT" it cost $8 The other eye oil I use is "Sil-Ophtho" $15 you can order them from my Onculist on line check it out Eye restoration Clinic -Elsie Joy they told me if you can put it in your living eye you can put it on your prosthesis the only problem with over the counter eye ointments is there made for

I used to use a type of Silicone based oil that felt as though it was in a frying pan when the temp went up, I now use Sil Optho and that cause's now problems with me but you have to get it from America

So I misplaced an extra bottle of Sil-Ophtho lubricant for eyes that I had so I was completely out of lubrication for my prosthetic eye There is absolutely NOWHERE to buy any in a brick-and-mortar store anywhere near me So, my only option would be to order online and wait for it to arrive and I have VERY dry eyes
