On the other hand, I just can't comprehend why anyone would defend or downplay faulty controllers though This isn't the first time and I continue to see no benefit to actually doing so Heck, every now and then, people would end up blaming the user in some form either directly or indirectly (happened in this thread too)

Or his controller's d-pad being faulty might not be a common occurrence Which is where the multiple experiences of other people with varying degrees of experience comes in handy I'm not sure why you would ever trust a single example of any tech product over dozens more people, when tech products will never be 100% non-faulty

The simplified BSOD looks a lot more like the black screen you'd see during a Windows update But it will list the stop code and faulty system driver that you wouldn't always see during a crash dump IT admins shouldn't need to pull crash dumps off PCs and analyze them with tools like WinDbg just to find out what could be causing issues
