My old Gerber marked Fiskars fits in the X5 sheath and is held securely as well, where as the X5 wont fit the Gerber sheath Itll go in half way The X5 can be forced further in but thatll cut into the protective strip at the bit and we dont want that The poll on the vintage Gerber Fiskars is about one third shorter than the poll on the X5
