I think that’s one of the things Flickr is still good at It looks decent, you can create galleries to easily showcase certain images together, and you can post links to your photos pretty much anywhere - so you can still share things on Facebook, Reddit, etc

I use flickr for several purposes all worth the effort for me:- Sharing my work for others to see Creating ideas albums that can only exist online Backing up anything that has become a jpeg Curating others work into collections, to scratch my own creative itch I curate my public work heavily, even though few see the work in the order I intend it

-Flickr has great privacy controls for galleries and individual images, so you can control who can see what They're also not afraid of risque content that's been problematic on other sites -Unlimited uploads -I can upload once to Flickr then pretty much cross-post it wherever else I like on the internet without having to worry about it
