Floating from Native Hole or Hippie Bar means going out the mouth of the Sauk and down to Faber's Ferry on the Skagit, which is a longish float (I used to launch my canoe near Hippie Bar and float to Faber's, so it's very doable in a day Regarding difficulty of the reach from Mill to Bennettville, it's not difficult

Hi All, I am looking to float the Wynoochee River in a pontoon boat in the next couple weeks I was hoping to find out if floating the lower river is worth it or is the water too slow? Are there runs that can be fished and gravel bars? Or would it be best to start at the 7400 bridge down?

- Fly line (Cheap vs expensive) - Washington Fly Fishing Forum
Cold temps seem to make some lines unusably coiled, is it better to go with a braided or mono core? Braided maybe? Big flies a longer more weight forward taper? Probably I guess I believe there are conditions that warrant a special line but most days I'm happy if the tip stays floating or if the line sinks without coiling
