Another option I'd try out based on previous experience is a black widow venom 300 Should be similar in size to a Flowmaster 50, but should be quieter and have minimal to no drone I ran a venom 250 on a tundra The 250 is similar to a Flowmaster 40, but was much quieter, I'd say nearly flow 50 70 series quiet, but had zero drone

I had a Flowmaster on my old Gen3 5 7L Thinking about an exhaust upgrade on my new Gen4 2018 5 7L, and my muffler shop said he's been selling way more Magnaflows So far from doing research it sounds like the Magnaflow's straight through muffler would get more flow, but not sound as gurgly as the Flowmaster

LOL--Of course the guy who doesn't sell Flowmaster is going to recommend something he (coincidentally) does sell! Just breakin' your balls Nick! That is a really good deal on the Carven and based on how fast my Flowmaster is rusting, probably a better choice-though I haven't noticed any drone from my Outlaw

If you're looking for the juicy details of adding a flowmaster super 40 409S style muffler, allow me I had hoped for a muffler swap only when I took it to the shop Knowing it was going to need at the very least, an extension pipe in front of the muffler to install it Got a call, tails were too far gone to reuse, no chance to be welded
