I LOVE FltPlan Go as an alternative to Foreflight for simming A buddy of mine is a pilot and doesn't want to use Foreflight for simming because it logs sim hours in the regular log So I decided to mess with MSFS2020 and FltPlan Go, and I was able to get it working, though it updates at about 5 second intervals

Fltplan go is basically skyvector with a wide coverage but it lacks severely in features I say both Get at least the navigraph navdata, and you can use the charts from fltplan go (the app is way easier to use than the website) If you do only or mostly IFR, I suggest navigraph all out and you can get the charts through avitab or the msfs plugin Having approach plates on a 3d in-plane avitab

Does anyone know what FAA systems FF (and Garmin's fltplan com, which has a similar and equally incorrect feature) is getting this "expected route" from and why it is so disconnected from reality? FltPlan Go route times I’ve been using FltPlan Go for more and more planning I have my plane’s performance all set up so my leg times show up under the Navlog - but not on the routes, the times are dashed out Anyone know how to make them show up?

Then download the connector program from the Fltplan site as well - it’s a small little program that facilitates the coms between PC and Tablet - basically transmits your GPS position from the sim over your WiFi

Fltplan Go was working with the FSX SimConnect in the Alpha and Beta of FS2020 I uninstalled the FSX Simconnect being worried about legacy simconnect and conflicts As a result after downloading the release version of FS2020 I can't get the FltPlan Go application to even start anymore I am about to re-install the FSX SDK and see if it works
