@pepe72 F lux doesn't adjust the backlight brightness It just adjusts the black level, which makes the overall color easier on the eyes, appearing darker while not actually being darker So you need to adjust the actual brightness of your display, which is done with buttons on the monitor or on the laptop

Those flashes are burning my eyes :'- ( Interestingly enough, in daylight, when testing sunset or bedtime mode via flux preferences, manual brightness adjustment via dedicated keys does not trigger flashing, but moving to a room with closed curtains is a surefire way to trigger it Reported this to Apple via feedback app 0 lorna Jul 12, 2015

I had this problem -- flux was only working on 1 monitor Here's how I fixed it (Windows 10) -- Right click Flux icon, lower right Hover over "Disable" One of the items "for Generic PnP Monitor" was checked I UNCHECKED it Fixed immediately
