Mine is in 22 Magnum It is one of the few 22 Magnum pumps out there There are only a handful of others 2 I can think of from Winchester and one from Browning If I was getting a pump 22 LR, I would choose many others before the Henry Namely the Remington 572 There are many older offerings from Remington and Winchester as well

I went looking to rekindle my early love for pump 22 rifles and found a winner on Gun Broker for about $450 bucks shipped (I cut my teeth on a Marlin Golden 39A and a Winchester 1890 ) The older Rossi is a well made, reliable rifle that follows the lines of the old Winchesters pretty well I’ll second the Henry lever guns, too

I picked up an older Henry pump 22 lr at an estate sale, i know it is at least over 10 yrs old because it was made in Brklyn NY The rifle has a round barrel not the oct, and they are the only ones i can find much info on The serial # is fairly low and followed with the letter P, i figured
