It says "forecasted" as past participle of the verb "forecast" If that is the only past participle of "forecast" your dictionary gives, then your dictionary is clearly wrong Tell me, does it also give "casted" as the past participle of "cast"?

Cast does, indeed, work like that So does forecast, as it is derived from fore- and the verb cast There is no reason to invent forecasted and it sounds horrible
