I started with ForeFlight, but after a long trip comparing both base versions side by side, I changed over to WingX WingX seemed to me to be easier to read and navigate in a bouncing plane with less than optimum screen viewing conditions Comparing the base versions, WingX has far more features and is a better bang for the buck

ForeFlight was developed by pilots for pilots I’ve been using Foreflight since it was brand new, and it is the most powerful option for the iPad in aviation, IMHO I have tried and seen others use the other options ForeFlight will work with Garmin avionics and others Garmin Pilot will only work with Garmin
