Best kept secret in the army is how bad Carson is The area is beautiful, of course, nestled up to the Rockies The Springs can be fun, so are the surrounding areas But there’s a meth crisis off and on base Rats infest the housing, even the newer builds The unit life in 4ID will likely be rough given that you’ll just do a training cycle for a JRTC NTC rotation, wash, rinsed and repeat

Old time here from Fort Carson 2006-2010 Essentially it was , you get your food and go to check out line and scan your CAC card You find a seat and eat Fort Carson had 4 Defacs open There was a main one by Welcome Center (at that time) 1 was ran by 4th ID cooks and was actually good One I never went to because it was out of my way And
