First a question, is that a 10 or is it a 12 cu yd dump truck? 10 cu yds = 270 cu ft , 12 cu yds = 324 cu ft which is closer A cord = 128 cu ft tight stacked So loose packed in a 12 cu yd dump truck means it is short quite a bit of 3 cords (3 x 128 = 384 cu ft) If it's a 10 cu yd dump truck, it's a generous 2 cords

The problem is that I'm working with a Marco unit that by the installation manual is supposed to have a face that is 37 3 16" high and 41" wide By actual measurement I have 33 1 2" high and 43 3 8" exposed face including a generous application of cement all around the face

This is the same kit I used, cathedral support kit from Canadian Tire, and it is in fact 14" and a hair wide I went with generous clearances (overboard to keep missus happy), so my support box is sticking out 3" below the flat ceiling, and the Class A is sticking out 3" below that

You want a generous bead where the storm collar contacts the pipe Regular silicone is rated to something like 400ºF The surface of the class A pipe is not going reach even half that temp It's fine as long as it is a good grade of silicone
