From GIK Acoustics I purchased six “Tri-Trap” (triangular bass traps to be placed in the corners of the room) and four “244” panels for the side walls (for the first reflections), while I opted for six PREMIUM panels from Addictive Sound for the front wall (the one behind the main speakers)

Bass traps go in corners floor to ceiling Wedges not needed Get a 5 inch thick Gik panel with a range limiter and leave a 5 inch air gap That’s basically 10 inches of absorption with half of it free

GIK and DIY use the same exact materials I bought a bunch of GIK bass traps because I was busy and didn't want to spend all my time making tri-trap frames and I doubt I could teach myself how to work with fabric as well as they make them Super happy with what I bought, but I did pay a premium for their work and assembly

i think it currently makes more sense for me to buy premade acoustic panels instead of figuring out the logistics to making some myself for this i found those 3 brands: addictive sound (on amazon), atsacoustics and gikacoustics has anyone compared these three, or tried other brands that you could recommend? the room is on the smaller side and will be used for both mixing and recording vocals
