Called Garmin's customer service Tuesday and explained all the troubleshooting I did Service rep said it was bad but before they could warranty it I needed to update the software (way outdated but worked flawlessly for the last year), also needed to calibrate the compass (never have with this transducer or my old LVS32)

Garmin GPS Map 1222 from David at Shut up and fish is the best bang for the buck IMO I’ve seen them all and for crappie fishing nothing else compares to the Garmin

I open ticket with Garmin and their support was fantastic and received email over the weekend! Anyhow, after the troubleshooting and sending back forth, it was determined that the transducer (as suspected) was the issue and lucky was still under warranty
