The Home Depot store employee who set everything up told us that their carpet subcontractors were great, but he has a harder time recommending the local hardwood and tiling subcontractors because of customer issues (also those jobs are less forgiving than carpet) Also, you can ask HD who they use as subcontractors and google them for reviews

Genuinely a good store, it varies alot between stores but the management at the stores I've been at all have been great, partly because home depot kinda forces its people in any managerial positions to be nice to the other associates Even if the management at your store sucks, it's a pretty good job Reply reply fiscal3498 •
