With the support of RAI, Nome School District received a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grant to finance their part of the RAI project, help with the Anchorage convening expenses, and give some funds to each of the four other districts to bring culture bearers artists into their schools

Participants Forty-two out of fifty-three Alaskan school districts responded to the 2025 Survey This represents 79% of school districts and about 90% of students from all regions of the state Further, all five general regions of the state are represented in the summary of data – North, Interior
