Mod Gustav is referring to Baldur's Gate 3 (Gustav was the name used for BG3 before it was announced) It's probable that one of you has a newer older version of another mod which makes you unable to join each other

Do not remove GustavDev I can't claim to know how all the files make up the game, but my general understanding is that Gustav acts like the base game for the early access version that only had act 1 and GustavDev has a lot of the later parts of the game, act 2 and 3
