The Hap program is great my friends and I have had many great hunts on HAP lands like hunting State lands, you have to put in your time doing some scouting and talking to locals like others said you may have to walk a few parcels to find the right spot for you

Has anyone here hunted hap land in Lapeer, Genessee, or St Clair county? If so, how was your experience (crowding, ethical vs slob hunters, overall enjoyment of the hunting experience, abundance of wildlife compared to state game areas)?
