- AnsysElectronics Desktop (HFSS) solvers- HF3d error code 149
With your HFSS 2022R2 installation you can find a file called "What's new in Ansys Electronics Desktop 2022 R2" in the documentation folder Under known issues you can find this section: "611491 – Potential MPI failure on Linux (most commonly seen on Ubuntu) for distributed simulations
- [SOLVED] - Waveport renormalize in HFSS | Forum for Electronics
Did you simulate the structure without re-normalizing in HFSS ? And see whether there is difference in results (HFSS) ? If you don't renormalize, HFSS calculates the port impedance based on the width of the line and substrate properties and even the waveport dimensions matter So one should make sure that width is equal to 50 ohm

How to analysis Insertion loss and Return loss for Electromagnetic polarizer (single or multi-layer) in ANSYS-HFSS using boundary condition?
- [SOLVED] - HFSS: Two different materials intersecting error
I am simulating one connector in HFSS I have assigned different materials for pins (Copper alloy) and body (Polyester) While validating, I am getting
- How to have unwrap phase in HFSS report? | Forum for Electronics
Hello, I would like to have un-wrap phase (to have the phase just decrease ) in the report of HFSS How can I do that please ??
- HFSS: How can I get Optimetics to use all CPUs
HFSS: How can I get Optimetrics to use all CPUs I'm doing an optimetrics analysis in HFSS and want to look at 10 different lengths for a parameter Given I have 8 CPUs, and I believe a license which allows these to be used, I'm puzzled that HFSS is doing these serially, not in parallel The
- HFSS - multiple ports | Forum for Electronics
hfss port impedance Let's say you are simulating a structure in HFSS with multiple lumped ports at various places in the structure While HFSS doing the computations for one lumped port, what are the properties of the other ports? Do they become open circuits, or perfect-conductor planes, or
- HFSS: How do I connect a port to coax? | Forum for Electronics
I'm a HFSS newbie and are having troubles with something I think should be quite simple I'm trying to connect a 50 Ohm port to a piece of coax, which forms part of a coaxial colinear antenna This sort of thing: **broken link removed** The coax has an inner, dielectric, braid and sheath The
