- HMS Victory 1:78 by Mantua ,Panart - Build log | Ships of Scale
Hi everybody, in the end, I decided to open my build log for the Victory model, made by Panart in 1:78 scale Opened the packaging I was impressed by the general quality of the materials and I continued to evaluate the instructions and drawings Although there are very negative judgments
- HMS Indefatigable - Ships of Scale
For years now I've been seriously interested in building an accurate correct, to scale wooden ship model of the original 1784 HMS Indefatigable, in its Razee configuration as a 44 gun fifth rate Frigate I'm fortunate to have a family link to the later HMS Indefatigable, as my uncle served on
- Caldercraft HMS Victory Ships Boats | Ships of Scale
I'm an intermediate level wood ship builder who's tackling Caldercraft's HMS Victory and was surprised to find that nowhere in the internet universe (that I can find) is there a single post or video concerning the construction of the four boats that are part of the kit (unless someone here knows otherwise)

- HMS Victory colors | Page 2 | Ships of Scale
I am working on a Sergal HMS Victory, and have reached the point where its time for some color I have several books on the Victory which show a yellowish color used on the actual ship around the gunports and the stern and side gallery trims Is there a paint that is the same color as the actual Victory (preferably measured in ounces not gallons!)
- HMS Surprise by Mamoli - Build log | Ships of Scale
I got a Mamoli HMS Surprise as an early birthday gift and couldn't wait to start work on it My only other experience with wooden model ships so far has been a OCCRE Polaris so i feel this is quite a step up from that My biggest shock was for sure the massive difference in manuals between the Polaris and surprise
