You were absolutely right, I just fired up the game with Steam Input turned off and there's much more detailed haptics now I just assumed it was working last night because of the feedback on the main menu and other effects

I recently picked up Control: Ultimate Edition for PS5, and that version of the game makes pretty good use of the DualSense's robust haptics during gameplay The first thing the player will feel when gaining control of the main character is that every footstep is accompanied by haptic feedback

Definitely -not- a fan of RE Village implementation The haptics in something like the knife felt completely detached from the animation on screen Just annoying buzzing that was hard to suss out representing the action Further, the trigger resistance on both aiming and firing felt way off
