I'm currently using a z490 motherboard with an i7 10700k and have a 512gb M2 SSD installed, thinking about getting a 4TB M2 SSD from PCCG for storage to replace my traditional hard drive which I have been using for years now

There are documented cases where data has been retrieved from a single drive, even after it has been wiped This is why in our company our PC drives are destroyed I've not heard of an instance where someone was able to recover data from a single drive of a RAID5 array If this is possible

I don't know if Home Depot Lowes etc will have the hard cardboard material, I can't remember ever seeing it (not that I was looking for it) However, I do know they usually carry 1 8 inch hardboard (also known as masonite) that you could probably use

i just purchased a new hard drive after installing it, i used the old hard drive as a secondary drive i left the hard drive as is so i can copy files over to the new one then format it afterwords I am currently running XP Pro on the new HD, same as the old one When i try to access the user

I don't know if Antec does this anymore, but you can simply go to their main site, and specify exactly what parts you're missing are broken, and youll get a replacement for free One of my hard drive cages was busted on my P180, so I e-mailed them with the information they requested, and got one in the mail eventually

$11 625 TB for those doing the math so solid deal for new According to this review on best buy that was promoted free incentive review, the drive is an Exos inside, so should be solid even though there's only a 1yr warranty on the usb Don't know if shucking the drive and doing a warranty on the drive itself would work and yield you a longer warranty like the 3yr 5yr that people have done

The reason Seagate developed the FDB motor, reducing metal on metal contact, is a really good reason to keep oil in your car, right? I realize this isn't an apples to apples comaprison and there many factors that affect the operation of cars that don't affect hard drives and vice versa, but the concepts and goals are the same
