I wonder if Tron was the price Hasbro had to pay to get access to other Disney properties besides SW and Marvel Now that Disney owns Fox, if Hasbro decides to try making Die Hard figures, they had to at least try pushing Tron first since Tron was a case of striking while the iron is hot with the new movie

I think Hasbro's still running under their CEO's assumption from the Covid-era that collectors have deep pockets are truly commited to the line I mean, he basically said collectin this stuff is for people in the higher income brackets If this Tron Haslab fails, where doe Hasbro 375 go from there?

Going forwards Hasbro will have to choose IP's with lower fees in order to keep costs low enough to appeal to collectors Mainly because most of them aren't eager to be price gouged simply because IMO this is one way to drive away 375 fans pretty quickly causing the end of the scale

^ If Hasbro were to do music bands I get a sense they would simply do them in 6" scale as they did with Cold Slither Their biggest issues with 375 seems to be license fees associated with said IP's while trying to offer a fair priced item, thus it sonly viable in the 6" scale as a lot of consumers feel $25ish is too expensive for the scale

Hasbro Super 7 have several license deals, I suspect shared Chinese factories Hasbro may own the license but may use Super 7 to make 3 75” $20 action figures or they may just do something under a Hasbro scale

Hasbro could have gone the made-to-order route, like the Marvel Legends Mephisto Apocalypse Split up the figures in two batches of 2 figs and lightcycle with the first set getting the light-up base and spread them out over a couple months You can even price them the same just divided up Customers wouldn't have to pay the Haslab extra fee
