I've custom baled hay for over 35 yrs sometimes weather deals making hay a heavy blow! I seriously doubt hay producers are harvesting selling moldy hay that is being regularly shipped as good hay to other countries I have no experience baling hay utilizing preservatives but I've read where applying preservatives will control mold up to a certain moisture % but does give hay a different
