Finding Forever Families Since 1988 Central Texas SPCA is a small non-profit adoption center We are not a public drop-off and do not accept stray animals or owner surrenders We rescue dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia by pulling them into our shelter from high-kill shelters

If you absolutely must surrender your pet or you find a stray animal, you can contact the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter if you live in Williamson County or the Austin Animal Center if you live in Travis County

Every dog adopted from the Central Texas SPCA is tested for heartworms, spayed or neutered, microchipped and given all age-appropriate vaccines before they go home

Every cat adopted from the Central Texas SPCA is combo tested, spayed or neutered, microchipped and given all age-appropriate vaccines before they go home The cost for these pre-adoption services is around $300, using any discounts we are offered through our veterinary partners
