HifiBerry DAC2 HD Measurements As usual we start with our dashboard of 1 kHz, streamed to the board at fixed max volume: Performance is not great It is what we would expect a few years ago: Specifications from the company indicate far better performance but with a fine print that they are performed at -10 dB so I tested using that condition:

In my view the DSP board isn't quite usable yet because of some complexities in getting it set up and because of evolving HiFiBerry-OS I think the HiFiBerry-OS will be really useful in setting up DSP crossovers for use with powered speakers and for setting up room EQ and other sound settings across all playback streams (Roon, Airplay, Bluetooth)
