When you crimp the sleeve the sleeve will elongate The elongation has to go somewhere Leaving the mono tight around the eye of the hook places tremendous strain on the mono Creating the dreaded crotch break Properly crimped lines will always out test perfect knots Most improperly crimped connections will out test knots as well

With the Toit tool I can now crimp Knot 2 Kinky Titanium in 25# as well as the stealthier 31# stainless wire The Toit will probably work with all wahoo wire rigging, but I only tested 25# and 35# titanium and 31# Single strand stainless I have a knot, wind-on, and line testing machine and have posted my results here many times over the years
