  • Print to PDF - Loss of hyperlinks - Adobe Support Community
So something in the latest version of Adobe PDF (or perhaps the operating system side of things) has annoyingly began overriding hyperlinks in PDF documents When I click "Print" and then "Print to PDF" - I WANT THE LINKS TO REMAIN CLICKABLE I don't care what printing is supposed to be For the past 2000 years, Print to PDF has allowed the links the remain clickable Why stop now?
  • I cant export a JPG with hyperlinks as a PDF
To export a JPG with hyperlinks as an interactive PDF in Adobe Acrobat, follow these steps: Open your JPG file in Adobe Acrobat Add hyperlinks to your JPG if you haven't done so already by going to Tools > Edit PDF > Link > Add or Edit Drag a rectangle around the area you want to link, choose the link appearance, and set the destination (URL, file, or page view) Once your hyperlinks are set

  • Automatically find where URLs are embedded in PDF
When I use Acrobat to auto-create web links from URLs, it tells me how many links were embedded as part of the process However, it doesn't tell me where all those links are, so I have to scroll through the entire document (which is often 100-200 pages) to find them so I can make sure they all work
  • Re: How to (totally) disable hyperlinks in a PDF?
If you export the PDF as a JPEG, and then convert the jpeg file(s) back to a PDF, it should disable the hyperlinks, even in a browser
  • Hyperlinks Lost in Word Doc to Adobe PDF Conversion
The next time that the merged PDF documents open up in Acrobat one or two clicks on the hyperlinks will complete the URL conversion seamlessly across the document As for your second observation, I personally don't know why it is designed like that, but sound to me like a good Feature request (in the absence of a clear answer)
