I still am surprised given electric 7 string sales that someone like Schecter, Ibanez or Agile has not tested the waters recently with a decent but affordable 7 string acoustic-electric around $500 - $1000

Truth be told, the Premium feel a tad less "traditional" Ibanez (the finish doesn't peel off, the frets don't rust, and the neck isn't so thin it cramps normal hands within 5 minutes ), so that's probably a bit why I liked them (way) more
