sop = small outline package - it could be anything, is there a number by it? soic = small outline ic - there is usually a 150 or 300 for the mills width of the package (most are 150) to mix things up some, there is also ssop - dont know what the extra s means, but they're smaller that the soic and then, to top it off, tssop *shrug*

I'm trying to use some Integrated Circuit shapes that came with Visio and they are completely inadequate The pin numbering is all wrong and there's no way to change it, and the pin labelling is limited to a'n' for the inputs and b'n' for the outputs No way to change that either Obviously

Why does adding a capacitor in series to an AC motor increase its speed? The capacitor does boost the voltage somehow because the input voltage is 132v (mexican mains) and coming out from the capacitor are 230v This has to do with the inductance because it wont work without the motor I made
