So I got this ak as a gift it says Intrac arms Tennessee on it and I've shot once when it belonged to my dad It wasn't that fun because of the grip and short length Do I'm thinking I'd like to get a nice magpul grip and a stock for it I like the reviews on the vltor gas tube conversion and a magpul adjustable stock So I guess the purpose of me writing this is one to find out more info on

I was at the local gun pawn shop today and seen an Intrac HS95 for sale I have never heard of such, However after search the net I found that this gun was made in Croatia and is the predessor to the HS2000 The gun is for sale at $220 It's got some wear marks but other than that looks good I

I saw an Intrac HS2000 at my local gun store and I really liked the look and feel of it It's used, but it looks to be in great condition However the price was $420 00 and it only comes with one magazine Is this a good price considering the current economic situation, or would I be better off buying a brand new XD?

Prior to SA, HS Produkt was originally known as IM Metal and they sold the HS2000 (the original name of the XD) through their own US based company called HS America and had them brought in by an importer named Intrac out of Tennessee SA saw the gun was doing well and struck up a deal to be the sole importer and marketer of the gun

HS2000 was first made in 1999 in croatia by HS Produkt ( formerly I M Metal) first imported into US by Intrac and distributed by HSAmerica springfield picked it up in 2002 and renamed it the XD-9
