- Pronunciation of the letter V : r italianlearning - Reddit
I started learning Italian on Busuu a few months ago and the letter "V" was always pronounced like the English or French "V" Same with watching Italian shows with Italian subtitles on Netflix But now, I seem to hear more of a "B" sound at times on Busuu, akin to the Spanish "V" Is this a regional difference or do certain words need the "B" sound for "V"? Grazie mille

I am Italian American and would say these are neither "typical" Italian-American, nor what you would call "authentic" Italian My impression was that they tried too hard to be different interesting and the dishes were too complex (which to me is very non-italian)
