I already have couple of high gain pedals but the lack of versatility is something I never liked on high gain units On the other hands both JHS AT and Angry charlie V3 seem very versatile indeed I really like the full-band EQ on the AC V3 and also like the Headroom toggle on the AT pedal

I just picked this little device up this past week to put in the effects loop of the Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 Even at 10 watts, if you turn the master volume up to 11:00 (the suggested setting in the manual) it's loud as anything The Black Amp Box works really well at taming the master volume
