Re: JLK Vs Berger not sure why but i've had much better results in my rifles with the bergers: 190 gr 30 cal in 308 300 win mag, 180 gr in 7mm wsm, 130 gr 6 5 in 6 5 x 47 the 7mm jlk's didnt want to stabilize in my rifle, thought the jlk's may be great in yours

Re: 7mm JLK 180gr VLD, anyone using them in 7WSM? By the way, after 68 rounds last Saturday without cleaning, I came home, filled the barrel with Wipeout Foaming Bore Cleaner, let it sit all night, ran a wet patch through it Sunday morning, all the yuck came out including ALL the copper

Get the JLK 80 It has the best BC for an 80 gr, and it stabilizes fine in 1:7 twist Also, the 90 gr bullet offers no advantage in wind drift, since the 90 gr is going slower, and the JLK 80 BC is so high The JLK 80 should be jammed 010" into the lands to get best accuracy These shoot fine out to 1,000 yards, and I have won an F-class match at 600 with them Mag length has no bearing on F

Great analysis James I agree with your assessment of the BC's for the JLK 130 VLD, as well as the expected velocity based on what you get with the 140 Go forth and reap the benefits of your knowledge! BTW, some more recently discovered middle weight 'gems' for the 6 5mm are the Norma 130 grain Diamond

IMO, the best alternatives to bergers are the JLK and ELDX The 135 JLK is a beast and stupid accurate and do everything a berger does on game I just picked up 100 of the new Sierra Game Changers in 90gr 6mm I'll give those a go in my BR, as I already have a stock pile of the 95 TMK's for match use There are other options to bergers out there
