Jacobs is buying pre-made blades from one of the materials suppliers I remember reading a post a while back that mentioned what supplier he was getting the blades from, but I can't remember right now

I am also looking for an Oregon knifemaker to repair restore an heirloom Remington R1123 pocketknife It is a pretty valuable knife but in fairly rough condition and I would like to have it mildly customized with a Damascus blade to replace the one that's broken I'm in Tualatin, but would be willing to travel an hour or more to find the right craftsman Any takers?
