I am also looking for an Oregon knifemaker to repair restore an heirloom Remington R1123 pocketknife It is a pretty valuable knife but in fairly rough condition and I would like to have it mildly customized with a Damascus blade to replace the one that's broken I'm in Tualatin, but would be willing to travel an hour or more to find the right craftsman Any takers?

The #1 help to e came from Frank Jacobs (Jakeknife) as much like Bruce he would call it as he saw it and make you hold your work to a better higher standard it has been a HUGE blessing to me to have all these guys help little old me become a much better knife maker and i try as i might to pay some of it forward to the new guys
