- New to this ben pearson javelina - Archery Talk Forum
It's one of the older Javelinas, probably not as sweet a shooter as the later "bat-wing" risered models, but still a shooter If you can post a picture, it would help The bow is 66", and draws 40 pounds at 28" You'll need an AMO 66" or actual length 63 5" 12 strand Dacron string Either way, the brace height needs to be around 7 5" (+ -)

- AZ Javelina | Archery Talk Forum
Javelinas are very under rated and very disrespected as a game animal They are truly one of our treasures here in the west, they don't get enough credit (Also don't listen if people tell you they are no good to eat, handled proprly they make terrific sausage among other things ) PM if you need any pointers Have a great adventure!

My brother has killed a coues deer, a bull elk, and several javelinas with tooth of the arrow broadheads Several were mediocre at best shots (he gets the worst buck fever every time, and every time seems like the first time)
- opinions on pearson Couger - Archery Talk Forum
The later model BP Javelinas were real sleepers (ie under-rated) It's AMO 66" and a real sweet shooter, if set up correctly There were several versions, so I'd get a pic of that one If it's the one I'm thinking of, hands down - go for it, IMHO I've got three of them from 34# - 56#, again, sweet
- Darton Recurves any good? | Archery Talk Forum
The bows are very similar, with the Colt being 62" and the Javelina 66" I still have three Javelinas ( and no, they're not for sale) from #34 - #54 and they still shoot flawlessly Match the right arrows, and your good to go As with all auctions, contact the seller first and ask the usual questions Good luck Viper1 out
