The sambar seems to be the majority for high mileage kei trucks, but they all seem to be represented I think the biggest thing is how you maintain them If you're always on top of it, they last forever Just oil and filters will get you pretty far To stick with your analogy, I think they are more on the car side of touring bikes

The way I understand it, the only way to have a non-25 year exempt kei vehicle without a speed limiter is if it was never modified to begin with and illegally imported or if it was properly imported but then modified after the fact Companies that import later model year kei vehicles get certificates to allow them to do so

From all the reading I've done here I take it Tatou does not make a track for Kei trucks, and the tracks, as well as the truck, must be modified quite a bit to make them fit I've been impressed by reading Darcy's (Samuri Trucks) page, posts, and videos, but he's not in the US, so I was hoping someone down here might be doing something similar

In other words, the weight of the driver counts as part of the payload That is the way it is calculated in the US (Curb weight is the weight of the vehicle including a full tank of fuel and all standard equipment

Aftermarket turbo option for Kei 660 cc engines Link here I think it works out to 1400 00 US + shipping, etc They make specific kits for the Suzuki Carry but I think that they could be adapted to others At the very least now you know what size turbo works on your truck
