I only recently discovered Kongregate, but I've been playing a bunch of their defense strategy games and platformers My favorites so far are the Robot Wants Kitty series, Don't Touch My Gems, and The Space Game Castle Wars 2 is also really fun

Even the not so great games on kong were able to get some players If you were an amateur game developer willing to work hard to make a good game, making an idle game and submitting to kongregate honestly seems like about the easiest possible way to get a player base I don't really understand what kongregate is doing here

Kongregate was a great place to look for new games, as a lot of devs had put in the extra mile to get more plays higher ratings It would be awesome if Newgrounds were to become the new home for idle devs, since it’s always been a friendly and creativity oriented site

The default page I'd go to if I was going to kongregate for any reason was the idle games sorted by new but obviously there's no point of that anymore, what with there being no new games Still probably better than the homepage which just advertises the same four or five games kongregate presumably has a financial interest in
