Kaiser is in the Denver Metro area with the traditional HMO In Colorado Springs it operates under the PPO type plan However, it has introduced, this year, the expansion of the HMO plan which covers Medicare, to Southern Colorado Cities which includes the cities of Pueblo and Canyon City

For Kaiser, every time the doctor you see is a different person The worst scenario is that if your wife is going to give birth Kaiser demands that she is discharged within 36 hours after delivery And the OB doctor she sees is not the one she sees during prenatal visits Kaiser just assigns whoever is working the shift

As for favorites, I haven't seen any real surveys published I've only heard of opinions by fans of Kaiser I've heard plenty of opinions from people who don't like Kaiser If you prefer the traditional kind of doctor's offices, go with Sutter Some people don't like the huge waiting rooms full of people at Kaiser, and that is the way I feel

My advantage plan is good throughout the US It's more like a PPO advantage hybrid Every doctor I've ever had an appointment with, or googled, was in-network, unless they were at Kaiser or something like that I felt like a hostage at Kaiser as they only cover Kaiser doctors facilities unless they don't have a doctor of your required specialty

Spouse @2 on Medicare Advantage and 9 years before than with regular Kaiser kaiser can’t be compared to something like united healthcare kaiser has a pretty good reputation

No Central California coverage Farthest north affiliate hospital (not a Kaiser hospital) is in Ventura Ventura does have actual Kaiser clinics, but patients are compelled in some cases to drive the 44 miles down to Woodland Hills, and in some cases, all the way down to Kaiser Sunset (the flagship SoCal Kaiser)
