I need a photo storage app with extra privacy for private files photos KeepSafe seems to be the most popular, but it works only by using an email address and a pin code What's keeping someone from downloading the app, using my email, and brute-forcing a pin code (easy because they're short and numbers only)?

I found keepsafe on the app store is polished and convenient looking, but I don't believe it's open source and although I'm happy to pay a pretty penny for a lifetime service, I know that services who do over-promise and under deliver in lifetime subscriptions tend to decline as their income ceases overtime

When you install Keepsafe on your new phone it should automatically detect the content and ask you to verify the account associated (you need to use the same email you used previously for Keepsafe)

Keepsafe usually hides a folder on your device somewhere, usually named keepsafe Note the period before the name, that's important Also, you won't be able to find it without using ADB, though I'm pretty sure you should be able to mount the phone's system partition (at least in read-only mode) with ADB and find it that way
