One important thing to note Konnected cannot perform line supervision 'Real' [UL listed] alarm panels use end-of-line resistors to ensure the circuit isn't compromised Konnected doesn't do this, a cut line is an 'open' sensor, so depending on your security reliability [and insurance!] requirements this may be undesirable

Based on install konnected io, ESPHome is the way to go right now if you're using HA The HA integration with the original firmware is marked deprecated and the Matter firmware is beta and not yet certified

I have the Konnected Pro, and I absolutely love it as it works like a charm However, I primarily use HomeKit for everything, and I currently have SmartThings solely for security I'm eagerly looking forward to integrating it into HomeKit without relying on third-party apps With that in mind, I'm curious about the current status of "Matter" support for the Konnected Pro

Clarification on how Konnected works I am considering a Konnected pro The product looks pretty good! Just 1 months question… From what I understand, Konnected just bridges old hardware to smart home systems (home assist for example)

The konnected is based on an older model plus it doesn't come with any of the accessories the III does Also you can buy a fireboard or iKamand that does the same thing and the fireboard runs on a battery so you don't have to plug anything in
