Wait, i thought they use LCD panel from TCL Regardless of that, i think sony know that larger screen premium TV is increasing in demand, and after samsung made their own OLED, it is become harder to compete in OLED Space (look at panasonic) So, pivoting from OLED to RGB LED for their flagship is a right decision, at least IMO

With digital displays (I can speak for LCD) "phase" is the setting of the relationship between the video clock edge and the edge of data If there is a phase difference, primarily caused by too many clocks during "active data", the display does not know exactly where to set the actual data pixel
